The Institute of Estate Agents (IEA)'s objectives are to promote and protect the interests of estate agents as well as the interest of the public who engage the services of IEA members.  The Singapore Accredited Estate Agencies (SAEA) launched on 11th November 2005 was the result of a joint effort initiated by a committee comprising representives from the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers (SISV) and the Institute of Estate Agents (IEA).  Here, members develop a sense of commitment and professional responsibilities when dealing with clients.  The community in general would be able to benefit from the quality check provided by the system of accreditation.
